‘AHAS’ is a consortium of ayurvedic doctors and students. It involves group discussions on ashtanga hridaya, an authentic ayurvedic text. Ashtanga hridaya is an ayurvedic treatise having nearly 5000 slokas. Each sloka is discussed and critically analysed to understand the exact meaning of the lines with its clinical application during the gathering.

During AHAS gathering not only slokas but also any relevant scientific matters are also discussed. Even doubts of the students are clarified and also motivated here. Dr.C M Sreekrishnan is the main person behind this group.
